Program Managers / Coordinators: (Full Time / Part Time)

Areas of Concentration: Family Services, Health Services, Disabilities Services, Education Services
Position Purpose: Oversee and direct the planning, organizing and implementation of services.
Minimum qualifications: Baccalaureate degree related to the disciplines that the staff oversees.


Site Supervisors: (Full Time / Part Time)
Position Purpose: To provide day-to-day management and oversight of assigned Head Start Center. To ensure that the Center meets and maintains Full Funded Enrollment, which includes the active recruitment of children and families. To communicate organizational vision to the employees of the organization and ensure that there is effective communication flow within the organization. To ensure compliance with the Head Start Program Performance Standards and Wisconsin DCF Child Care Licensing Regulations. To ensure the effective utilization of federal resources.
Minimum qualifications: Associate or baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education.

Family Service Advocates: (Full Time / Part Time)
Position Purpose: To integrate parent and family engagement strategies into all systems and program services to support family well-being and promote children's learning and development. Recognize parents as their children's primary teachers and nurturers and implement intentional strategies to engage parents in their children's learning and development. Encourage and support parent-child relationships which include specific strategies for father engagement. Collaborate with families in a family partnership process that identifies needs, interests, strengths, goals, and services and resources.
Promote family involvement opportunities in all aspects of the program.
Minimum qualifications: Associate or baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education and a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field.

Head Start Teachers: (Full Time)

Position Purpose: Provide a safe, successful and well supervised educational setting for children (classroom and outdoor play area). Promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Head Start children. Develop individual goals for children, provide on-going assessment on progress and facilitate transition into kindergarten. To ensure compliance with the Head Start Program Performance Standards and WI DCF Child Care Licensing Regulations.
Minimum qualifications: Associate or baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education.

Teacher Assistants: (Full Time)
Position Purpose: To assist the teacher and cooperate in a supportive role carrying out developmentally appropriate activities. To promote the health, nutrition and education of the children and to attend to their safety and welfare.
Minimum qualifications: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree or, enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of hire

Nutrition Aides: (Part Time)

Position Purpose: To ensure support for food service delivery at Head Start / Early Head Start classrooms in the areas of food preparation and service, clean-up, and site sanitation.
Minimum qualifications: previous experience in a food service and child care operation. Preference given to applicants that have Early Childhood classes.
